On June 6, 2025, at approximately 15:45, one person (female) was hospitalized in the Emergency Department of Tovuz District Central Hospital, TABIB told APA.
It was stated that the person, diagnosed with severe open craniocerebral trauma, cerebrospinal fluid leakage, and traumatic shock, was provided with the necessary medical care.
The patient’s treatment continues in the Intensive Care Unit.
Her condition is currently assessed as critical.
In addition, the death of one person (female), whose condition was critical, was recorded upon admission to the hospital.

Details of the fatal dispute in Tovuz have become known, APA's local bureau reports.
In Tovuz, 31-year-old Kainat Namazov, who suffers from a mental illness, inflicted various degrees of bodily harm on his sister, 25-year-old A. Namazova, and his mother, 55-year-old Sevinc Hasanova, and later set fire to their home. According to initial information, the mentally ill person who committed the incident was taken to the police station.
As a result, the mother died, and the sister was seriously injured and hospitalized.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
