International Energy Agency lowers its global oil demand forecast

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has lowered its forecast for global daily oil demand growth for this year, APA reports, citing the agency’s monthly report.

According to the forecast, global daily oil demand is expected to increase by 0.72 million barrels in 2025, reaching 103.76 million barrels, down from the previous estimate of 103.9 million barrels.

The report also notes that global daily oil demand growth in 2026 is expected to reach 0.74 million barrels.
