The Azerbaijani team participating in the 37th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2025) for schoolchildren has achieved remarkable success, APA reports.
Held in Sucre, the capital of Bolivia, the team was awarded a total of one silver medal, two bronze medals, and one incentive prize.
Aykhan Damirli, an 11th-grade student from the Lyceum named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva (Baku), won a silver medal, while Hasan Valiyev, a 10th-grade student from School No. 157 (Baku), and Elvin Imanli, an 11th-grade student from the Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Lyceum (Baku) secured two bronze medals.
Rounding out the team's impressive performance was Ali Aliyev, an 11th-grade student from the Ankara Lyceum in Baku, who was awarded an incentive prize.
As part of its ongoing partnership with the Ministry of Science and Education and the Institute of Education, "Azercell Telecom" LLC has been supporting schoolchildren in their preparation for the International Olympiad in Informatics.
