During today's auctions, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas in Europe settled at around $405, APA-Economics reports.
On August 4, the price of September futures based on the TTF (Title Transfer Facility — the Netherlands’ and Europe’s most liquid virtual gas trading hub) index stood at $405, which is 0.2% lower compared to the previous settlement price of $405.7.
Note that the transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe through the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) began on December 31, 2020.
