Ilham Aliyev and Zelensky condemned Russia's targeted air strikes on SOCAR's warehouse and other Azerbaijani facilities in Ukraine

On August 10, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

During the phone conversation, bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine were also touched upon. In this regard, it was emphasized that a meeting of the intergovernmental commission between the two countries was held in Baku last month and fruitful discussions were held within this framework on the development of economic and trade relations.

During the telephone conversation, the parties condemned Russia's targeted air strikes on the oil depot belonging to the Azerbaijani company SOCAR and other facilities belonging to our country in Ukraine, as well as on the gas compressor station transporting Azerbaijani gas to Ukraine, and stressed their confidence that this will in no way lead to the suspension of cooperation in the energy sector between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
