An argument broke out between two groups with a long-standing feud in the Güneş neighborhood of the Şahinbey district of Gaziantep. The argument quickly escalated into a gunfight. Nine people were injured in the incident: Ali İhsan Y. (26), Metin Y. (52), Metin Y. (18), Nahsen Ö. (55), Cebrail Ö. (22), Eyüpcan Ö. (16), Nahsen Ö. (19), Ertuğrul Y. (26), and Gülay G. (64).
The incident, which reportedly resulted in the two sides exchanging gunfire, was reported, and numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Police took extensive security measures in the area, and paramedics provided first aid to the injured at the scene before transporting them to various hospitals. Three of the injured are reportedly in life-threatening condition, and they are receiving treatment.
Police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the fight and have detained numerous individuals believed to be involved.
