A passenger bus in Algeria has veered off the road and plunged into a river from a bridge, APA reports.
The accident took place in the Al-Mohammadiyah area in the direction of Al-Hawa Al-Jamil in the Harash district.
As a result, 18 people were killed and 9 were injured. Two of the injured were hospitalized in serious condition.
25 ambulances, 16 divers and 4 boats were involved in rescue operations at the scene.
