
During the first 7 months of this year, 737 million 466.3 thousand kWh of electricity were exported from Azerbaijan abroad.
Yeniavaz.com reports with reference to official data, the customs value of electricity sold abroad amounted to 41 million 610 thousand dollars.
As a result, the customs value of 1 kWh of electricity sold abroad amounted to 5.6 cents, or 9.6 kopecks at the current exchange rate (1 dollar for 1.7 manat).
It should be noted that this is lower than the price of electricity sold on the domestic market.
As is known, the price of electricity sold to the population within the country is 8.4 (up to 200 kWh), 10 (200-300 kWh) and 15 kopecks (more than 300 kWh). Thus, the average electricity tariff within the country is 11.1 kopecks.
