Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that it is impossible to achieve progress in the Ukrainian conflict without taking into account Russia's interests, APA reports, citing TASS agency.
Lavrov noted that "on the issue of Ukraine's security guarantees, it is necessary to build on the results achieved during the talks held in Istanbul in 2022" and that seriously discussing security guarantees without Russia is a "road that leads to a dead end."
He also added that China, the United States, Great Britain and France should discuss these issues on an equal footing.
The minister also noted that "Europe is making unethical attempts to change the US position, and no constructive proposals were put forward at the meeting in the White House" against Moscow.
