NATO supports the “coalition of the willing” and is involved in exploring appropriate formats to ensure Ukraine’s security, but it will not play a direct role in drafting these plans, APA reports citing ANSA.
The agency noted that this conclusion was reached by the chiefs of staff of the armed forces of NATO member states.
It is emphasized that any efforts by the Alliance’s partners in this direction must be carried out “without undermining NATO’s defense plans.”
