Türkiye has started training the Syrian army, said the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, APA reports, citing Turkish media.
It was stated that the provision of training, consultation, and technical support to the Syrian army has been initiated.
In the near future, a delegation from the Turkish Ministry of National Defense will visit Syria to observe the needs of the Syrian army on the ground and to develop a joint roadmap.
Note that on August 13, an agreement was reached between Türkiye and Syria regarding joint training and consultations.
