The groundbreaking ceremony for the Kars-Iğdır-Aralık-Dilucu railway line has been held, APA reports.
The foundation of the railway line has been laid.
Türkiye's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that this line will have the capacity to carry 5.5 million passengers and 15 million tons of cargo annually.
It is estimated that this project will be realized at a cost of approximately 110 billion lira.
