The president of the Syrian interim government, Ahmad al-Shara, will speak at the United Nations General Assembly session in September, a source from the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told AFP, APA reports.
It was noted that Ahmad al-Shara will be the first Syrian president to speak at the UN General Assembly since 1967.
