I highly appreciate the resolute support of US President Donald Trump for the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as for the peace agenda in the South Caucasus and the world, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said this on a post he shared on his social media account, APA reports.
"I would like to thank President Donald Trump for the historical photographs he personally signed and the kind words he wrote on them. I highly appreciate President Donald Trump's resolute support for the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as for the peace agenda in the South Caucasus and the world, and for this I express my deep gratitude once again," the head of state noted.
It should be noted that the photo sent by Trump to President Ilham Aliyev reads: "Ilham, You are a Great Leader."
