The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will soon cease its activities in Azerbaijan, Aurelie Lachant, a public relations specialist at the ICRC told APA.
At the same time, she noted that "they are currently conducting a dialogue with the Azerbaijani side regarding the future of their work in relation to persons protected by international humanitarian law."
She did not comment on the details of these discussions.
It should be noted that Dragana Kojic, head of the ICRC's Azerbaijani Delegation, said on August 1 during a reception for Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov that the organization's Azerbaijani Delegation will cease its activities in early September.
