Today, an online meeting was held between the State Customs Committee and the Estonian Tax and Customs Council, State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.
According to the information, the meeting was organized to exchange experience on customs control and clearance operations carried out at customs border checkpoints on goods and vehicles.
It was noted that the current state of cooperation between the customs authorities of Azerbaijan and Estonia and their future development prospects were discussed at the meeting. At the same time, achievements, innovations and best practices in the field of application of information technologies during customs operations were shared. Also, views were exchanged on border crossing processes, registration of goods and vehicles, simplifications applied in connection with border crossing, optimization of transit operations, risk management systems, and digitalization of customs operations.
