Zelenskyy: 8 people killed in Russia's next massive strikes on Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that at least 8 people, including a child, were killed as a result of Russia’s latest massive strike on Ukraine, APA reports, citing Ukraine’s Unian Information Agency.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that there may still be people trapped under the rubble. Many were injured.

"These Russian missiles and attack drones are a clear answer today to everyone in the world who has been calling for a ceasefire and real diplomacy for weeks and months. Russia chooses ballistics, not the negotiating table," Zelenskyy stated on Telegram.

The President emphasized that Russia is taking advantage of “part of the world” turning a blind eye to the children being killed. Therefore, he expects a reaction from China to what has happened. After all, China has repeatedly called for “non-escalation of the war and a ceasefire.”
