Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the President of Türkiye for the support provided.
He noted that “in Russia’s attacks, the Azerbaijani Embassy and a company belonging to Türkiye were targeted.”
The sides exchanged views on ensuring security guarantees for Ukraine.
President Erdoğan stated that he had instructed Defense Minister Yaşar Güler to explore ways for Türkiye’s participation, particularly in the Black Sea, in ensuring overall security guarantees.
It should be noted that on August 28, at around 3 a.m., Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, came under missile and drone attacks. As a result of one of the missiles exploding near the building of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Ukraine, the building sustained damage.
