Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the current state of Moscow-Baku relations during a press conference concluding his visit to China, APA's Russian bureau reports.
Putin acknowledged that there are some issues in relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, but emphasized that a shared interest in developing ties will put everything in its proper place.
The Russian leader also mentioned greeting Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his wife in China and exchanging a few words.
“I believe that the fundamental relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, and the mutual interest in their development, will put everything in its place,” Putin added.
