Russia has launched another massive attack on Ukraine, APA reports, citing UNIAN.
It was noted that tactical UAVs and missiles were used during the attack.
The cities targeted included Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, and Kryvyi Rih.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk military administration, Serhiy Lysak, stated that one of the three men injured in Kryvyi Rih is in serious condition.
“The terrorist attack in the Nikopol region has continued since the evening. Loud explosions were heard in the district centers of Pokrovske, Marhanets, and Myrove. As a result, a 54-year-old man was killed, and another 64-year-old local resident was injured,” Lysak said.
The head of the Kyiv city military administration, Timur Tkachenko, announced that the number of injured has already reached 15.
According to local television channels, a record number—about 700 Geran-2 UAVs—are expected to be used today.
Kyiv was struck by four 9M728 Iskander-K cruise missiles, causing a large fire at the site. A UAV strike also caused a fire at the Government building.
In Kryvyi Rih, Geran-2 UAVs and Iskander missiles were used in a massive attack. The city experienced power outages, followed by another wave of strikes with eight more Iskander missiles.
In Kremenchuk, around 20 strikes targeted the bridge over the Dnipro River, as well as the Svitlovodsk reservoir area.
In Odesa, UAVs struck strategic facilities, including the port. Explosions were reported at Shkolnyi airport.
In Zaporizhzhia, several explosions occurred near the Abrasiv industrial plant, and a chemical industry facility was hit.
Explosions were also reported in Dnipropetrovsk and the surrounding areas, as well as in Kharkiv and the Kyiv region.
