"More than 800 drones, 13 missiles, four of them ballistic. According to preliminary information, several drones crossed the border between Ukraine and Belarus," he stressed.
The head of state recalled that ordinary residential buildings were destroyed in Kiev. In one of them, partitions between the fourth and eighth floors collapsed. “According to current information, two people died, one of them is a child. I express my condolences to all the relatives and friends of the deceased,” Zelensky noted, adding that in total there were dozens of injured people in the capital alone.
In addition, he recalled that the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was also damaged - a fire broke out on the upper floors.
"More than 20 houses and kindergartens were damaged in the Zaporozhye region. Commercial warehouses were destroyed in Krivoy Rog, there were casualties in the village of Safonovka in the Sumy region and in the Chernihiv region. A multi-storey building was hit in Odessa. Many regions have suffered damage over the past 24 hours. Our services are working wherever needed," the president stressed.
