The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, has extended condolences to General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, APA reports.
The condolence message reads:
"I was deeply saddened by the news of the treacherous attack by terrorists in the northwestern region of Pakistan, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of a group of military personnel of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
We pray for mercy on those who lost their lives, share the grief of their relatives, extend our deepest condolences to their families, and ask God for patience. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
Rest in Peace."
