Azerbaijan sentences Miradalat Talishkhanov to six years for incitement against the state

The final trial in the criminal case initiated at the State Security Service (SSS) against Miradalat Talishkhanov, who is accused of making open calls against the state, has been held, APA reports.

The verdict was announced in the trial at the Baku Court on Grave Crimes, presided over by Judge Elmin Rustamov.

According to the verdict, Miradalat Talishkhanov has been sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment.

Note that Miradalat Talishkhanov was detained by the SSS.

Talishkhanov was charged under Articles 32.4 and 281.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (incitement to make open calls against the state, if the same acts are committed repeatedly or by a group of persons). It is known that he previously worked in law enforcement agencies.
