Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law on year-round conscription, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
It has posted information about this on the official legal information portal.
Recall that on October 28, the Russian State Duma adopted the draft law on year-round conscription in the third, final reading.
According to the law, medical examinations and meetings of the conscription board will be held throughout the year, and citizens will be sent to serve in certain periods.
Note that so far, military conscription in Russia has been carried out twice a year, in the spring (from April 1 to July 15) and in the fall (from October 1 to December 31).
