In 2025, the total amount of tax and customs exemptions and privileges amounted to 7.7 billion manats, APA reports.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Azer Amiraslanov, during the discussion of proposed amendments to the Tax Code.
Azer Amiraslanov noted that this figure is approximately equal to 20% of the projected state budget revenues for 2025, adding: “When determining exemptions, the state does not apply any discrimination based on the form of ownership.”
