During the period from January to October 2025, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia amounted to 4.1523 billion USD, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Customs Committee.
This figure is 5.3% higher, or 209.9 million USD more, compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan’s exports to Russia increased by 0.4%, reaching 975.883 million USD, while Russia’s exports to Azerbaijan grew by 7%, amounting to 3.1764 billion USD.
During this period, Russia ranked first among the countries to which Azerbaijan exported non-oil products. Specifically, from January to October of the current year, Azerbaijan exported non-oil products worth 968.946 million USD to Russia.
The main products exported from Azerbaijan to Russia during this period included fruits and vegetables (tomatoes, potatoes, apples, hazelnuts, cherries, strawberries, persimmons, etc.), fruit juices, butter, primary form propylene copolymers, primary form polypropylene, and other products.
It should be noted that the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia in January–October 2025 accounted for 10.2% of the country’s total trade turnover.
For reference, in the first 10 months of the current year, Azerbaijan’s total exports amounted to 21.6368 billion USD, while non-oil exports totaled 2.9878 billion USD.
