The US Embassy in Baku is holding an online auction of used household furniture, cars, and various items.
Yeniavaz.com reports, that the auction will begin at 10:00 AM on December 19 and end at 12:00 PM on December 22.
Only 30 lots are up for auction.
It should also be noted that the starting price for the items up for auction is below average market prices. For example, two two-seater and three-seater sofas, a corner table, a coffee table, a small table, two lamps, and two bookcases were set at 300 manat. Alternatively, the total price of two bookcases, two armchairs, a chest of drawers, two lamps, and a small table next to the sofa is 200 manat. The embassy also auctioned off various office furniture items for a total of 50 manat.
A freezer (GE FUG21DBRWW), washing machine (BOSCH WAK24210ME), clothes dryer (BOSCH WTB86210BY), and microwave oven (GE JEI1044WGSS) were auctioned for 300 manat. The embassy also set the starting price for nine carpets at 300 manat.
