Azerbaijan sends another relocation caravan to Aghdam city, families receive house keys -UPDATED

Today, 103 families – a total of 405 residents – have been relocated to the city of Agdam, APA reports.

Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Agdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, welcomed the residents and informed them about the necessary matters of concern.

Additionally, ANAMA staff provided the residents with detailed explanations on mine safety, highlighting the safety rules. Afterwards, the keys to the new apartments were handed over to the relocated families.

Note that the return of the population to Agdam city is being carried out in phases.

In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Great Return to the liberated territories is continuing, APA reports.

Those relocating to the city of Aghdam are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

At this phase, 83 families consisting of 308 people have been resettled in the city of Aghdam. From Baku city – 77 families (292 people); from Barda district – 2 families (9 people); from Sumgayit city – 1 family (3 people); from Mingachevir city – 1 family (2 people); from Aghjabadi district – 1 family (1 person); and from Ganja city – 1 family (1 person) have been relocated.

In total, 103 families consisting of 405 people have been resettled.

The residents returning to their native land expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care provided to them. They also conveyed their appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and wished mercy upon our martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.
