The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has expressed condolences to the people and government of Pakistan following a deadly terrorist attack on a mosque in Islamabad, APA reports.
In a statement shared on social media, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said it strongly condemns the heinous act of violence and terrorism that targeted worshippers at a sacred place, resulting in the loss of innocent lives and leaving many others injured.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, and we wish a swift recovery to those injured,” the statement said.
Azerbaijan reaffirmed its solidarity with brotherly Pakistan and underscored its firm support for peace, stability, and the fight against all forms of terrorism.
