Armenia’s authorities are seeking to confiscate real estate and $92,000 belonging to a former deputy defense minister, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia, the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia has filed a relevant claim against Artur Agabekyan in a case concerning illegally acquired property.
It is noted that Agabekyan served as Armenia’s deputy defense minister from 2000 to 2007 and was a member of parliament from 2007 to 2012.
Agabekyan also served as the “interior minister” of the self-proclaimed “NKR.”
