The European Union supports young people in Azerbaijan for a brighter future, said the European Union’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Marijana Kujundžić, during her speech at the opening of the 5th European Intellectual Competition jointly organized by the EU Delegation and the Young European Ambassadors Network, APA reports.

“Through our events and joint activities, we learn from one another. Young people play a key role in building bridges between our societies. Today’s quiz is a fine example of this,” the ambassador noted.

Note that 18 teams of young people aged 14-26 from different regions of Azerbaijan are participating in the 5th "European Intellectual Competition" organized in Baku by the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan in cooperation with the Young European Ambassadors (GEA). Within the competition, which consists of two rounds, the teams answer questions related to Europe. The winners will be awarded valuable prizes and certificates.
