"Last night's attack by Russia involved more than 400 drones and around 40 missiles of various types," said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, APA reports.
According to him, the main targets were the energy grid, generation facilities, and distribution substations.
The President noted that damage has been reported in Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Rivne regions. An apartment building was damaged in Rivne. In Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia region, drones hit the administrative building of a regular agricultural college.
Zelenskyy added that there were also strikes in Kyiv and Kharkiv regions. In some regions, air defense operations are ongoing.
"Every day, Russia could choose real diplomacy, but it chooses new strikes. Moscow must be deprived of the ability to use the cold as leverage against Ukraine," Zelenskyy emphasized.
He said that this requires missiles for Patriot, NASAMS, and other systems.
Zelenskyy noted that every shipment helps them get through this winter and thanked all our partners who understand this and are genuinely helping.
Recall that on November 19, 2025, Russia also carried out a strike on the Ivano-Frankivsk region, with the main target being energy infrastructure.
