A phone conversation took place today between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, during which the regional security situation was discussed, APA reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The call focused on cooperation within the framework of the allied relationship between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as joint efforts in international organizations and multilateral platforms.
The sides also exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East, the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization process, and other issues of mutual interest.
