Azerbaijan appoints new prime minister for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

A new Prime Minister has been appointed for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, APA’s local bureau reports.

The decision was adopted by the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Based on a nomination submitted by the President of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Assembly appointed Jabbar Musayev as the new Prime Minister of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Prior to this appointment, Jabbar Musayev served as the Head of the Executive Authority of Nakhchivan City.

Earlier today, it was reported that the President’s submission regarding the appointment of a new Prime Minister had been presented to the Supreme Assembly, which convened to discuss Musayev’s candidacy.
