“The Zangezur corridor is a unique place for us,” founder and head of the international travelers’ platform NomadMania, Harry Mitsidis, said ahead of a visit to Karabakh, APA reports.
“The Zangezur corridor is what excites me the most about this trip,” he added.
He noted that according to the planned route, the delegation will visit the starting point of the corridor, and this is expected to be one of the first visits by foreign travelers.
Mitsidis also praised the reconstruction and rebuilding efforts in the region, stating that large-scale construction work is already underway in areas that were previously in ruins.
At the same time, he touched upon the mine threat in the region, noting that during previous visits, access to some areas was restricted and safety issues required special attention. According to him, serious work is currently being carried out in this direction as well.
According to the visit program, the delegation will depart from Baku and travel to Aghdam, Shusha, Khankendi, Lachin, Jabrayil, and Fuzuli, and will also visit the area through which the Zangezur corridor is expected to pass.
