White House asserts that US President Donald Trump prefers peace with Iran but is prepared to continue military action, APA reports.
"The President always prefers peace; there is no need for further death and destruction. But if Iran does not recognize the current reality, if they do not understand that they are suffering and continue to suffer military defeat, President Trump will ensure that they are hit harder than they have ever been hit before," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt asserted at a regular press briefing.
