Türkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu has spoken about the ongoing work on the Zangezur corridor, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The minister stated that the repair of the remaining 224 kilometers of road on the Turkish side has already begun.
“Work on the Azerbaijani side is nearing completion. A contracting agreement has been signed for the Zangezur corridor, but construction has not yet started. I believe it will begin soon without much delay. There is a 180-kilometer section on the Nakhchivan side. Part of it will be repaired, and part will be rebuilt. Construction work has already started on the 224-kilometer section on our side,” the minister said.
