Overchuk: If Armenia becomes a member of the EU, there will be no air connection with Russia

Armenia will no longer have air links with Russia if it becomes a member of the European Union (EU).

This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk to Channel One.

Overchuk justified this by the fact that the Russian Federation currently has no aviation connections with EU countries. Therefore, if Armenia becomes a member of the EU, it will also have no air connections with Russia.

"Maybe this sounds too harsh, but we want people in Armenia to understand that if something like this happens, it will be because decisions were made to move closer to the European Union," the Russian Deputy Prime Minister noted.
