Criteria for recognizing individuals as highly qualified migrants changed

The criteria for assessing whether a person is considered a highly qualified migrant have been changed, the Cabinet of Ministers decided, APA reports.

Until now, the evaluation criteria and the score thresholds to be assigned for each criterion during the assessment were determined based on the following table:

According to the amendment, the evaluation criteria and the score thresholds to be assigned for each criterion during the assessment will now be determined based on the following table:

It should be noted that when the total score of the awarded points is at least 70 (seventy), the foreigner is considered to have reached the passing score required to be recognized as a highly qualified migrant.
