Kyrgyzstan will participate at the highest level in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku on May 17–22, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan Maksat Mamytkanov said in an interview with APA.
“We are eagerly looking forward to participating in this forum, as significant development is being observed in the construction sector in Kyrgyzstan, and this is one of the results of the economic reforms implemented in our republic over the past five years,” the diplomat noted.
Mamytkanov emphasized that international experience in the field of modern urban planning is very important for Kyrgyzstan today.
“Currently, our country is interested in applying international experience in modern urban planning, modern architecture, and the modernization of cities built in previous periods in accordance with modern realities. These issues are particularly important in terms of environmental protection and creating favorable conditions for the life and health of citizens. Therefore, the forum to be held in Baku is of special interest to us,” the ambassador added.
