Iran rejects US ceasefire proposal, demands final end to conflict

Iran has responded to the US proposal on ending the war with a 10-point plan, IRNA stated, APA reports.

According to the report, the response was sent through Pakistan.

According to the information, in the 10-point response Iran rejected a ceasefire, taking into account previous experiences, and emphasized the importance of a final end to the war based on its own interests.

The response includes a number of Iran’s demands, including the cessation of fighting in the region, a secure transit protocol through the Strait of Hormuz, the restoration of infrastructure destroyed in attacks on Iran, and the lifting of sanctions.

The report notes that “the text of the 10-point plan was presented after the events that took place over the weekend in Iran’s western and central regions and the failure of the US helicopter landing operation.”
