The blockade of the Strait of Hormuz by the United States would negatively affect international markets, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
He said that many details regarding the possible US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz remain unclear.
The Kremlin official also spoke about the situation around Iran, noting that Russia is ready to provide any assistance to reduce tensions around the country.
Peskov added that Russia’s proposal to accept enriched uranium from Iran remains open, but this proposal has not yet been discussed.
