Since the outbreak of hostilities, the death toll has reached 2,496, according to a statement from Lebanon’s Health Ministry, APA reports.
The number of injured has risen to 7,725, the ministry said.
More than 120,000 people have been displaced from their homes as a result of the conflict.
Clashes between Hezbollah and Israel began on 2 March. Although a ceasefire was declared and later extended, fighting has continued.
Both sides have accused each other of violating the ceasefire.
