Pashinyan calls Azerbaijan–Armenia deputy PM talks a historic step in peace process

“I believe that a very important event has taken place,  said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said while commenting on the visit of Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev to Yerevan, Armenian media reports.

"I consider the visits of the deputy prime ministers of the two countries to be historic in terms of the logic and institutionalization of the peace process. I am glad that we have reached this stage,’ Nikol Pashinyan noted.

Recall that on April 29, in Aghveran, Republic of Armenia, the thirteenth meeting of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, and the Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border and Border Security Issues between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.
