Diplomatic corps begins next visit to Karabakh and East Zangezur

The next visit of the diplomatic corps to Karabakh and East Zangezur to familiarize themselves with reconstruction and economic development projects has begun, APA reports.

Today, accompanied by Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan have started their visit to East Zangezur and Karabakh.

More than 150 ambassadors, diplomats, military attachés, and other representatives from 62 countries and international organizations are participating in the visit.

The trip will last two days, covering the city of Khankendi, the districts of Khojaly, Shusha, and Lachin.

During the visit, participants will observe the reconstruction and restoration work carried out in the region on-site and will also familiarize themselves with socially and economically significant facilities.
