Trump says Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is no longer usable

Donald Trump has said that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium no longer holds significant value and is likely unusable, while indicating that Washington still aims to gain control over the material.

Speaking in an interview with Salem News, Trump stated that the uranium reserves are “not very interesting in terms of value” and are “probably not usable.”

Despite this assessment, he stressed that the United States continues to seek access to the stockpile.

The US president also said that Tehran would be compelled to impose restrictions on its missile program, signaling continued pressure on Iran over its military capabilities.

The remarks come amid ongoing tensions over Iran’s nuclear activities and missile development, which remain key points of contention between Tehran and Washington.
