The Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) contributes to improving the living conditions of citizens and the restoration of communities through the projects it implements in Azerbaijan, said President of the IsDB Group Muhammad Al Jasser, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, during a meeting with Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, APA-Economics reports.
The President noted that the IsDB was the first international financial institution to implement projects in the liberated territories, which demonstrates its leading role in the post-conflict reconstruction process.
According to him, cooperation with Azerbaijan has already yielded positive results, and the second project planned in the liberated territories will strengthen the development of infrastructure and agriculture, while also creating new opportunities for internally displaced families to return to their homes and sources of livelihood.
