A “Public Program” has been organized at the Baku Seaside Boulevard within the framework of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku on May 17-22, APA reports.
Speaking at the event, Chief Manager for Content and Media Relations of the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operations Company Eldar Rasulov said that the purpose of the event is to strengthen social solidarity in the urban environment and promote public participation.
He noted that issues arising in this direction will be discussed within the framework of WUF13: “More than 32,000 participants from 180 countries have registered. This forum is important for each of us.”
Eldar Rasulov added that the WUF13 Festival was organized in Guba, Lankaran, Gabala, Sheki, Mingachevir, Ganja, Khankendi and Sumgayit in order to inform the public about the event: “Nearly 90,000 people participated in the WUF13 festivals.”
Later, a concert program featuring well-known art representatives was presented.
