Azerbaijan FM highlights reconstruction efforts at OTS Foreign Ministers Council meeting

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov attended and addressed the Informal Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States in Turkistan, held under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development,” APA reports.
 
The Minister emphasized the importance of enhanced solidarity and coordination among Turkic States amid growing geopolitical uncertainties, hybrid threats, global security and connectivity challenges.
 
The strategic role of the Middle Corridor, digital connectivity, cybersecurity cooperation, AI-driven innovation & the “Digital Silk Way” project including the Trans-Caspian fiber-optic cable initiative was highlighted.
 
The Minister briefed his colleagues on Azerbaijan’s Digital Development Acceleration Action Plan for 2026–2028 as well as “Smart” reconstruction efforts in liberated lands.
 
The significance of WUF13 to be hosted in Baku in 2026 as a testament to Azerbaijan’s sustainable urban vision was noted.
 
Azerbaijan’s commitment to digital transformation of advancing cooperation within the OTS on AI and emerging technologies was reaffirmed.
