Prospects for the development of economic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan have been discussed, APA-Economics reports, citing the Ministry of Economy.
Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with Deryageldi Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan, within the framework of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for the development of Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan economic partnership. They emphasized the positive results of cooperation in the fields of investment, transport-logistics, and transit transportation.
The sides also exchanged views on promoting cooperation in trade, energy, and other areas, expanding regional economic ties, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
The parties noted that further deepening economic cooperation would contribute to the sustainable development of both countries and strengthen economic integration in the region.
